Associate Interview: Robert G.

Posted on August 19, 2011

At Atrium Staffing we enjoy getting feedback from our Associates, be it compliments or constructive criticism. This week, New Jersey-based Recruiter Jeff B sat down for some one-on-one time with Atrium Associate Robert G. See what Robert had to say about his Atrium experience and more!

How long have you been working for Atrium Staffing?

Since May 5th, 2011

Describe your initial interview with Atrium Staffing?

My interview with Jeff B went well. He was informative and seemed to have a good knowledge of the business.  The “arm wrestling” took me aback! (The contest was all in good fun and Robert was a great sport!)

How fast did your counselor place you with one of Atrium’s clients?

Only a couple of weeks. He had a client eager to meet me, so Jeff got the ball rolling with an interview right away!

What do feel Atrium has done to streamline and ease the hiring and on-boarding process with your current position?

I think they only call you if you are a good fit for the job.

What is your current job title?

I am considered a consultant, but the position is filling in for a Senior Accountant.

What does your job entail?

Very detailed accounting work, which includes J/E’s, monthly closings, research, etc.

What do you like best about your Staffing Consultant here at Atrium?

Jeff is on top of everything. When he says he will get back to you about an issue, he actually does in a short period of time.

What are your feelings/opinions concerning Atrium’s E-Office and E-Newsletter?

One word – Informative.

What do you like best about working for Atrium?

After a short period of time I was offered health insurance.

Have you worked with any other Staffing Agencies in the past?

It has been a while.

What differences have you picked up that made Atrium “stand out of the crowd”?

Jeff, his staff and his co-workers actually seem to care.

What is one thing, if anything, that you would change about the Atrium philosophy or procedure?

More client feedback to the person on the job.

What was the most helpful advice or insight you have gained from working with Atrium?

Do your best at all times.

What word best describes you?

Optimistic.

What is the first thing you do when you come home from work?

Thank God I have a job and talk with my kids.

How far do you travel for work?

On average, it’s about 1hour and 15 minutes each way.

If you could drop everything and go on vacation, where would you go right now?

South Beach or the Bahamas

What are your overall feelings of Atrium Staffing and the team members you have encountered?

They are very professional (even after the arm wrestling!!!!)

Yelp testimonial:

One of the best employment agencies in NYC! Atrium offers great benefits and excellent referral bonuses. They also select and reward one excellent temporary employee on a monthly and yearly basis. To my surprise I personally experienced this and received a very generous gift. They offer wonderful job opportunities in a wide array of industry's. I personally worked for so many different companies with Atrium, such as cosmetic companies, hedge funds, real estate, museums, fashion and many more. It's a great for those who are interested in temping as a part time job while pursuing your dreams but also great for those looking for permanent employment. The staff really takes the time to listen to your concerns and needs and are super professional and friendly. My agent Lisa Miller always finds me jobs that work with my schedule and fit my qualifications. She's always a pleasure to speak with, very attentive, supportive, and hard working. I highly recommend Atrium!
