We’ve all read the articles. We get it. Unemployment rates are excruciatingly high, especially for recent grads. Recent college graduates have entered one of the worst job markets in decades. According to CBS News, youth unemployment has reached an all time high at 14.5 percent. So where does that leave all of these newly educated, eager youth…living at home with their parents, applying to countless jobs, just waiting for a positive response?

As reality is settling in that September is right around the corner and recent grads are not returning back to school, many of you are having a great deal of trouble believing that the light is still flickering at the end of the tunnel.

Instead of losing hope, recent grads should consider the benefits of working with a staffing firm. Temping gives recent grads the opportunity to see what kind of work place, environment, position, and industry would be the best fit for them. It’s a sneak peak of the real deal, like watching the trailer before paying for the movie tickets or sampling the new flavor at Pinkberry before purchasing the large.
