“Atrium is one of the best staffing agencies in New York.  I am surprised by many of the negative comments/reviews, as I have had nothing but positive experiences.  I began working for Atrium when I first moved to New York in 2005 and gained so much experience.  After being laid off from my previous employer last Spring I began the bleak process of unemployment.  After almost a year of freelance jobs and rigorous job hunting, I submitted my resume to them, not thinking they would call back.

Well, I was wrong.  I got a call from Beth McDonough and my old recruiter, Jessica Nonnemacher and they were able to place me in a great position.

At times it does take them longer to respond, however they do care about their workers and they DO ALWAYS get back to you.

“Atrium is by far one of the best Staffing Agencies in Boston. This obnoxiously positive perspective is based on the following factors.

First:
I was placed on an assignment before the entire interview process was over.  Almost two months later and I am still at the same place.

Second:
The staff at Atrium is awesome. I have worked mostly with Lindsay and Shannon, and they are super sweet. Each time that I have had a question or concern they have responded. Their attitude is helpful, and genuine and that is rare in a staffing agency.

Third:
When I get off the phone with any of the staff members at Atrium I still feel like a human being and not just…a temp.

Yes, they are a small operation compared to some of the big names around the bean, but what that has translated to for me is respect. Many of the larger staffing agencies, especially in these harsher economic times seem not to have any respect for their own employees.

Not so with Atrium, they wanted to know my major, and what I liked to do outside of  my academic and professional life. And they tried their best to place me accordingly.
