Responsibilities:
- Define and analyze user requirements/business needs for new and/or enhanced product functionality, and design databases and SQL functions to support application requirements
- Document and communicate requirements to other IT personnel
- Code, test and document program code according to application need. May also indirectly supervise other programming resources.
- Perform quality assurance and end-user acceptance testing to ensure the product satisfied end-user requirements and needs
- Assist in packaging and delivery of finished software product to client
- Communicate with technical and business leaders on business requirements, system related capabilities, programming progress, and enhancement status.
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
- Understand engagement as it relates to client's business
- Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty
- Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract/workplan
- Deliver services that meet the task leader specifications
- Assume responsibility for small components of engagements. May have greater role on small engagements
- Writing of various reports related to engagements
- Contribute to a positive team attitude
Qualifications:
- Fixed income financial systems experience is required. Understanding of Securitization industry is preferred
- MUST HAVE hands-on SQL database development experience
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented programming and design patterns is requred.
- Experience developing reusable application framework and developing Enterprise class applications is desired
- Prior public accounting, management consulting, major financial institution or brokerage house experience is preferred
- Proficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required

Education Requirements:
- BA/BS degree; Computer Science is preferred
- MBA/MS/MA degree is a plus
