Data Analyst

Our client is a Fortune 500 Company and one of the largest providers of facility services. This company provides services for commercial, high tech, bio-tech, universities, financial institutions and retail facilities across the United States and Canada. Currently they are looking to hire a Data Analyst on a temporary-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities:

• The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data for the Western Region
• The Data Analyst will also be responsible for producing BI (Business Intelligence) reports for the Sr. Vice President and Regional Managers in support of financial and production metrics.
• In addition to data and financial reporting, the Data Analyst will be the knowledge leader for internal databases used to support clients (i.e. quality control systems and Oracle data warehouse).
• Create and produce BI reports for financial operational performance
• Recognize variances in production and financial reporting and provide solutions or alternatives for management
• Create bids for the region and respond to RFPs
• Set up customers and data in QMS and provide support to QMS user team
• Create presentations for Executive Management representing the region’s financial and operational performance

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of data analyst, systems analyst or similar experience
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, BI reporting, Oracle/JD Edwards financial products, and Excel reporting
• Advanced MS-Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Highly motivated, team player, adaptable to an ever-changing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or similar degree is preferred
• B.A. or B.S. in Business with technical work experience
