Our client is a luxury fragrance and cosmetics company who is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
- It will be duty of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager to provide engineering expertise for continuous improvement of operating efficiency, product quality, and safety
- Manage design and implementation of new equipment and processes or upgrades to existing equipment
- Manage the engineering analysis for the incorporation of new products into existing lines and processes
- Spearhead the preparation and updating of process and equipment documentation
- The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead maintenance team and provide technical support for manufacturing operations and maintenance
- Manage capital projects to closure
- Troubleshoot production systems and equipment and implement reliability improvement projects
Qualifications:
- 3 years related mechanical project engineering or maintenance engineering experience
- 1 year management experience
- Knowledge of processing and packaging environment
- Excellent mechanical / electrical problem solving skills
- Project planning and management skills
- Strong computer and PLC skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership competencies
- EIT or PE registration preferred
- Lean manufacturing and/or six sigma experience preferred
Education Requirements:
- Manufacturing Engineering Manager should have a BS Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
