 | |  |  | In order to maintain a superior Associate database, Atrium utilizes a 6-step recruitment and selection process called the Atrium Select Program:
Step 1: Sourcing The large majority of Atrium’s applicants are sourced through its immensely successful Referral Bonus Program, which offers cash bonuses of up to $3000 to any Associate that refers applicants who become Atrium Associates. This Program, the most competitive in the Northeast, allows Atrium to draw applicants from a highly qualified group, saving on the time and effort required to screen resumes submitted via other sources. In addition to the Referral Bonus Program, Atrium solicits applicants through print and Internet advertising, and our monthly jobs eNewsletter.
Step 2: Pre-Qualifying Atrium’s pre-qualifying process includes a lengthy telephone pre-screening that allows our Staffing Consultants to schedule only those applicants whose goals match our resources and whose credentials meet our standards. Atrium’s discerning pre-qualifying methods result in a large percentage of interviewed applicants becoming Associates and being placed on temporary assignments or in full-time positions.
Step 3: Interviewing Atrium’s intensive interview process requires that each applicant be interviewed by at least two Atrium Staffing Consultants. During the initial interview a Staffing Consultant discusses and assesses the applicant’s work experience, working style and career goals through a series of behavioral-based interview questions. If the applicant meets Atrium’s criteria, a second Staffing Consultant interviews the applicant in order to determine the applicant’s personal style and interpersonal skills. Atrium interviews cover not only the necessary background information, but help to establish a close working relationship between the applicant and Staffing Consultant.
Step 4: Skill Assessment The Interview Process also includes computer and office skills testing using our Prove-It Testing Software. Evaluations include: typing; a multitude of software packages including Microsoft Office Suite; basic office skills; reading; spelling; grammar; proofreading; general clerical and math; etc.
Step 5: Database Profile Atrium’s success comes as a result of the outstanding service for which our clients employ us: making the right match. Once an applicant has been selected as an Associate, the Staffing Consultants that interviewed the Associate develop a detailed Associate Profile which includes detailed information regarding not only the Associate’s experience and software skills, but their working style and personality. Thereafter, this Profile is utilized whenever the Associate is placed. The extra time Atrium takes to get to know its Associates has paid off in lower turnover rates and less training time and expense.
Step 6: Pre-Employment Screening A minimum of two satisfactory professional reference checks is required before an Associate is placed on an assignment. Atrium complies with the pre-employment requirements of its clients and is able to conduct any pre-employment screening needed such as drug testing, criminal and credit checks, etc.
