Direct Hire

A DIRECT HIRE situation occurs when a company has an open position and chooses to utilize Atrium as a resource for screening and qualifying candidates. While there is no fee for the search, nor a fee to the applicant, if the company chooses to hire an Atrium candidate the company will pay a fee that is a pre-determined percentage of the candidate’s first year’s total compensation.

Companies exercise this option because Atrium assumes the lengthy process of pre-qualifying candidates and also the cost of recruiting and screening. The clients meet only the most qualified candidates for the position.

Atrium clients notify our counselors when they have an open position within one of our specialties. We discuss the open position in great length and determine variables outside of the written job description. We are interested in knowing what the working environment is like, the personalities of the people involved and what kind of working style is necessary for a person to succeed in the position.

Once the position has been well defined and all variables determined, we look to the Atrium Select Program to assist us with identifying candidates. Our database contains only the most qualified and motivated Associates which we have selected after extensive interviews and skill evaluations. After the candidates have been identified by the database, our counselors discuss the situation and make an introduction, if appropriate.
