Client Overview:

Our client, a growing start-up partnering with financial institutions to expand affordable credit access, operates using AI-driven lending services. Our client is looking to add a Bank Training Coordinator to their team. They have a great team, company culture, office space, and room for growth!

Position Overview:

The Bank Training Coordinator supports the execution of training and quality programs by managing schedules, maintaining learning materials, and ensuring content alignment with ever-changing processes and policies. The Bank Training Coordinator works closely with leadership, Training Managers, subject matter experts, quality teams, and change management to continuously revamp training procedures. 

Responsibilities of the Bank Training Coordinator:

  • Maintain and update training materials to reflect current processes, product changes, and system updates, ensuring alignment with operational standards.
  • Track policy, regulatory, and procedural changes, validate content updates with subject matter experts, and manage version control documentation.
  • Coordinate all training logistics, including SME availability, instructor preparation, training calendars, attendee lists, and materials.
  • Support the execution of training sessions to ensure consistent delivery.
  • Track learner progress, completion data, assessment results, and nesting milestones.
  • Facilitate readiness certification for new hires in partnership with management and training leadership. 

Required Experience/Skills for the Bank Training Coordinator:

  • At least 1 – 2 years of experience in training coordination, learning & development, mortgage operations, or project/administrative coordination.
  • Experience managing schedules, logistics, or documentation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage version control, track updates, and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools and learning management/training platforms.
  • The Bank Training Coordinator must have clear and professional communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Bank Training Coordinator:

  • The Bank Training Coordinator must have experience in mortgage training, loan operations, quality, or change management.
  • Familiarity with home lending workflows or HELOC products.
  • Experience coordinating SME-led training, onboarding cohorts, or large-scale schedules.
  • Ability to analyze training gaps and recommend content or process improvements.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, dynamic operational environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
