Position Overview:

The Account Coordinator at our Client plays a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring seamless communication between the company and its valued customers. In this position, the Account Coordinator is responsible for understanding the specific needs and requirements of clients, offering tailored solutions, and providing regular updates on order statuses and shipment schedules. With strong organizational and multitasking skills, the Account Coordinator is adept at juggling multiple accounts, resolving issues proactively, and maintaining accurate records to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. With a keen eye for detail and robust interpersonal abilities, the Account Coordinator is an indispensable asset to the company, fostering long-lasting partnerships and contributing to the overall success of the supply chain.

Responsibilities of the Account Coordinator:

  • The Account Coordinator supports customer growth by ensuring high-quality carrier capacity meets or exceeds expectations, driving customer satisfaction.
  • They manage their workload independently, exercising discretion and judgment to contribute to the company’s growth goals.
  • The Account Coordinator maximizes profitability by purchasing competitively priced transportation while maintaining service levels.
  • In collaboration with the Sales team, the Account Coordinator ensures consistent pricing, and service, enhancing customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • The Account Coordinator delivers excellent customer service by adhering to company, customer, and industry policies, and maintaining effective communication for timely issue resolution.
  • They collaborate with various teams to secure new opportunities with customers and leverage new technologies to increase productivity.

Qualifications for the Account Coordinator:

  • Minimum of 1 year within logistics.
  • B2b experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
