Our client, a contemporary brand looking for an Account Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate MUST have a solid specialty background in the contemporary market and should have relationships in contemporary market with specialty stores and boutiques.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70,000 – $85,000

Position Overview:

The Account Executive will be responsible for the full cycle sales management of their assigned specialty store accounts. The Account Executive will partner with sales team lead on developing and executing growth strategies and identify opportunities to drive sales.

Responsibilities of the Account Executive:

  • Responsible for full cycle sales management of assigned specialty stores
  • Manage, track and ensure shipment of orders
  • React to in-season business by executing reorders, swaps, etc.
  • Prepare market recaps ahead of buying appointments and business meetings
  • Conduct store visits, product knowledge seminars, and trunk shows
  • Execute and summarize events and client activities for the brand
  • Manage market appointments as well as internal and external follow-up
  • Collect and analyze client feedback
  • Support the sales team with sample trafficking, copy requests, market prep
  • Manage market setup process

Qualifications for the Account Executive:

  • 3 years minimum of related wholesale sales experience with a specialty business in the contemporary market
  • Some men’s experience a strong plus
  • Strong Follow Up Skills
  • Experienced with MS Office Skills, including spreadsheets, and online ERP and inventory management platforms. Excel Joor, NuOrder, Blue
  • Cherry or equivalent proficient Influential and engaging verbal communication/presentation skills a must

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
