Accounting Supervisor

Our client, a non-profit organization, is looking for a Accounting Supervisor to join their rapidly growing team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70,000 – $75,000

Position Overview:

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for the financial close and accurate GAAP and Management reporting for the different business units under their responsibility. The Accounting Supervisor will handle reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts, including inventory, accounts receivable, prepaid accounts and intercompany.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor:

• Accurate processing of accruals and journal entries
• Oversee Accounting team
• Prepare and review forecasts and budget financial data load in the company’s systems
• Prepare reconciliation of GAAP to Management results
• Prepare monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet for a few of the business units
• Support the development of the annual budget and monthly forecast

Qualifications for the Accounting Supervisor:

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Previous supervisory experience is required
• Month, Quarter, and year end close experience
• Supervisory experience is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
