Our client is a prestigious non-profit biotech company in the Boston area. They are seeking to hire an Accounting Temp to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27/hr – $36/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounting Temp will be working diligently within the Accounting team to prep and file state and federal tax filings as well as general accounting. This person needs to have experience working in the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Temp:

  • Assist with filing non-profit federal and state tax
  • Responsible for business tax returns, tax payments, tax letters, and general accounting

Qualifications for the Accounting Temp:

  • 3+ years public / private accounting
  • Preferred experience with (SAP) software package experience and ERP systems
  • Excel experience (Vlookups and pivot tables)
  • Experience with Forms 990, 900-T, non-profit fed and state tax filings, business tax returns, tax payments, tax letters, and general accounting 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
