Accounts Payable Accountant

Our client, a financial technology company in NYC, is hiring for an Accounts Payable Accountant. The firm is expanding its presence in the North East and will be building out their accounting operations locally. Over the last few years, this firm has quickly established itself as one of the future industry leaders for the next decade!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$53k – $58k

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Accountant will manage the daily accounts payable processes while reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Accountant:

• Responsible for the matching and coding of invoices
• Processing payments at a high volume weekly/monthly
• Monthly reconciliations
• Assisting in the month/year-end processes
• Daily interaction with external vendors

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Accountant:

• 1 – 3 years of prior accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in Excel
• Working knowledge of NetSuite or SAP
• High attention to detail

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
