Our client is a leading biotechnology organization located in Boston, MA. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. If you have strong attention to detail and data entry skills, then this is the position for you!

$23/hr – $28/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the Accounts Payable department.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • Prepare and process weekly accounts payable invoices
  • Responsible for vendor verification and reviewing and posting accounts payable transactions to accounting software while ensuring accuracy across multiple web-based platforms and data bases
  • Review and verify general ledger coding of accounts payable invoices
  • Enter accounts payable into accounting system in a timely manner
  • Maintain vendor W-9 log

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • 1+ years of accounting experience in payables
  • Prior experience with Concur is required
  • Prior experience with Great Plains is preferred
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to keep accurate and organized records

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
