Our client is a real estate company based out of New Jersey and is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their Accounting Team. This company is rapidly growing and looking for an individual who is motivated and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40k – $45k
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the organization. This role will require an individual to be compliant with financial policies and procedures completing high-volume invoices in a timely and accurate manner. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will also have the duties in researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers as well as vendors.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
- Computing, posting, and reconciling batches
- Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Processing accounts and incoming payments according to financial procedures
- Monthly journal entries
- Preparing bank deposits, bills, and invoices
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in Accounting is required
- Exhibit communication skills
- Experience with using QuickBooks or other accounting systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent time-management skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience
