Our client is a construction and consulting company out of New York that provides services for commercial, retail, and residential projects. They are looking to add an Accounts Payable Coordinator to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$21/hr – $24/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be assisting the Accounts Payable Team with invoicing, making payments, vendor communication & outreach, reconciling accounts, coding invoice.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to specific departmental procedures/needs
  • Processing due invoices for payments
  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs  Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:

  • 1 – 3 years of prior accounts payable experience is required
  • A background working in construction is a plus
  • Proficiency using Sage 300 software is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel is required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
