Our client is a construction and consulting company out of New York who provides services for commercial, retail, and residential projects. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$21 – $24/hr
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be assisting the Accounts Payable Team with invoicing, making payments, vendor communication & outreach, reconciling accounts, coding invoices.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to specific departmental procedures/needs
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- 1 to 3 years of prior accounts payable experience is required
- A background working in construction is a plus
- Proficiency using Sage 300 software is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel is required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
