Our client is a business management consulting firm in Boston that is looking to bring a contract-to-hire Accounts Payable Specialist onto their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$23/hr – $27/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will work directly with the rest of the Accounting and Finance team, as well as the broader organization, to ensure that they are doing their best every day to serve the clients. They will have broad exposure within the organization and will be in a position with significant growth opportunity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and excited to learn new things. The position could grow to include helping with employee expense reports through Expensify.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Maintain accounting email inbox and make sure everything is read and processed
  • Review and send out invoices for approval
  • Enter invoices into the system using NetSuite
  • Correspond with vendors as needed and reach out to various team members to answer questions

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Full vaccination and booster against COVID-19 is REQUIRED
  • 1+ years of previous experience in accounts payable or a professional internship
  • Strong administrative background with high attention to detail and great organization
  • Must be local to the Boston area

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent is required
