Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is a well-known consumer products company which is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist, located in Bergen County, NJ.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20 – $26/hr Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to help complete their daily accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, ACH payments, analyze and process vendor invoices and expense reports and check runs. Great attention to detail, organization and dependability are a must for the successful candidate. The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Specialist position is an enthusiastic team player who is hard working, and highly motivated.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Bank reconciliations Perform account analysis
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and analyze accounts
• Set invoices up for payment
• Prepare weekly check runs

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 2 to 5 years of Accounting experience
• Knowledge of Accounting Software and Microsoft Office are required
• Well organized, excellent at multi-tasking
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
