Our client, a growing toy manufacturing company in the Bergen County area, is seeking a temporary to permanent Accounts Payable Specialist. Our client is seeking an ambitious accounting/finance professional with a minimum of 1 year experience in accounts payable.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $16- $19/hr

Position Overview: The Accounts Payable Specialist will match, batch, and code invoices to the G/L sub-ledger, resolve A/P issue, and process checks. This position requires people who have a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

Process full-cycle A/P
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Execute additional tasks as needed
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

Minimum 1 year Accounts Payable experience desired
Working knowledge of the accounting software
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
High attention to detail
This is a temporary to permanent position

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or Finance
