The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices at a high volume. Our client likes to see people with years of experience with high volume invoice processing OR entry-level candidates with some light AP experience that can learn quickly! This company hires quickly – one and done interviews with offers that come out usually the day of!

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

Process invoices at a high volume (150-200 weekly)
Process high volume of payable invoices, attaching all backup -packing slips & purchase orders
Monthly accounts payable aging reports
Vendor set up and maintenance
Communicate with vendors via email and phone
General ledger – coding invoices
Weekly check runs
Process rush checks
Accounting data entry duties AP related reconciliations
Prepare monthly AP aging reports

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

1-5 years of experience
Detail-orientated
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast paced environment
MS Excel experience

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
