Our client is an innovative biotechnologies company that has long-standing partnerships with elite universities in the Boston area. They are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

This Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for accounts receivable collections and prioritizing the reduction of aged receivables. They will also assist with aspects of the invoicing and billing process. Development of customer relationships to ensure effective resolution of open receivable items is paramount. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will have to prepare and present various analytics and will also be responsible for preparing various analytics and AR-related reporting, presenting to management and other key personnel.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Analyst:

  • Handle accounts receivable collections process from start to finish, including research and communication with third parties and colleagues daily, and bring attention to unresolved account balances as needed for collection
  • Responsible for preparing monthly accounts receivable reporting including analytics with a focus on important AR issues that will be presented to management
  • Coordinate the accounts receivable reserve / bad debt analysis process quarterly
  • Actively be aware of and work on solving all open customer balances
  • Perform various ad-hoc analytics and produce reporting metrics, communicating collection results to whom it may pertain
  • Constantly have innovation on the top of the mind to make the process most efficient

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Analyst:

  • 2 – 3 years of accounts receivable experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Understands sensitivity of relationships as well as keeping composure and showing maturity in a workplace environment
  • Proficient with Excel (vlookups and pivot tables), Google suite of applications, and ERP(SAP is preferred)
  • Comfortable providing process and run
  • Positive attitude and open to taking initiative
  • Covid-19 vaccination

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or comparable work experience
