Our client in the food wholesaler is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to aid their Accounting team. The company is pursuing an Accounts Receivable Clerk who can work collaboratively in a team providing efficient results within a rapidly-expanding industry.

Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist the Accounting department in reviewing, analyzing, and disputing chargebacks taken by customers. Responsibilities will reach spectrums of monitoring and processing incoming payments and securing revenue. The position requires a motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk accompanied with determination and communication skills that can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The job is a hybrid position that has the potential for a full-time offer.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:

  • Conduct research and analysis of AR reports
  • Ensure all chargebacks are correct and valid
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of chargeback items
  • Provide support as required in assisting monthly chargeback reconciliations
  • Monitor and track all cash receipts in a timely manner

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:

  • 2 – 3 years of accounting experience is required
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and journals
  • Proficiency in Excel preferably (Pivot and Vlookups)
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
