Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client is a highly regarded and prestigious healthcare facility looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist as a patient account representative. This organization is looking for an experienced professional that can grow within the organization and become a key member of the team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$19/hr – $20/hr

Position Overview:

Accounts Receivable Specialist applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for previous experience, but willing to train the right candidate with a strong medical billing academic background

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Accounts receivables reduction assistance
• Assisting patients directly with their bills or other financial aspects of their care
• Billing and re-billing, denials, and handling of A/R credits and trend monitoring
• Accounts receivable

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• 1 – 2 years experience in healthcare insurance billing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Accounts receivable experience

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s degree, certifications, or equivalent experience
