Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will join a collaborative accounting team and report directly to the Director of Accounting. In this key role, the Specialist will contribute significantly to the team’s operations. This fast-paced, high-volume office offers extensive exposure to a rapidly expanding organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter ready to make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Efficiently manage high volumes of accounts receivable transactions, payment processing, and maintain up-to-date account information.
  • Handle owner account payments and system management with a focus on accuracy and timely updates.
  • Proactively manage collections to ensure prompt payment from customers, including making owner calls and resolving payment delays or disputes.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships while addressing payment issues and ensuring clear communication.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, swiftly resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Analyze current processes and procedures, providing suggestions for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • 2-5+ years of applicable experience
  • Self-sufficient and collaborative
  • Ability to meet deadline requirements
  • Proficient in effectively communicating across the organization, collaborating with teams beyond their own department
  • Exposure to Real Estate Industry is a plus but not required

Education Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
