They work with leading companies that are changing the way modern business is done. They are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable / Staff Accountant to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80k – $90k plus 5% Bonus

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a client-oriented, motivated individual to join them as an Accounts Receivable / Staff Accountant. Their headquarters are in New York City and has grown substantially each year. This position is critical to their continued growth and can be located in either Boston or New York. The Accounts Receivable / Staff Accountant will work directly with the rest of the Accounting and Finance team, as well as the broader organization, to ensure that they are doing our best every day to serve the clients. You will have broad exposure within the organization and will be in a position with significant growth opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable / Staff Accountant:

  • Monitor the accounting inbox and respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Perform accounting tasks as needed including running reports from the accounting system, reviewing variances, and generally supporting the broader Accounting team
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Work with the Client Service teams to draft and review client invoices
  • Ensure timely completion of invoices and submission to clients
  • Work with Client Finance and Accounting teams to ensure everything is set up in the billing systems
  • Track receivables and work with customers to ensure timely receipt of payment

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
