We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented ACH and Wire Transfer Specialist to join our client’s Financial Operations team. 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr – $35/hr

Position Overview:

The successful candidate for the ACH and Wire Transfer Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing Automated Clearing House (ACH) and wire transfer transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This role is critical in supporting the efficient and secure movement of funds for our clients and the organization.

Responsibilities of the ACH and Wire Transfer Specialist: 

  • ACH and Wire Transfer Processing: Accurately process ACH and wire transfer transactions, including incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Monitor and verify transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to ACH and wire transfers. Assist clients with transaction setup and troubleshooting.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all transactions adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and risk management standards. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare regular reports for management and regulatory purposes. Assist in audits and compliance reviews as needed.
  • System Management: Utilize financial systems and software to process transactions. Identify and report any system issues or inefficiencies to the appropriate departments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including accounting, finance, and customer support, to ensure seamless processing and resolution of transactions.

Required Experience/Skills for the ACH and Wire Transfer Specialist:

  • Experience with domestic and international wire transfer processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.
  • NACHA & NEACH experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the ACH and Wire Transfer Specialist: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ACH and wire transfer processing or a related financial operations role.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations, ACH rules, and wire transfer guidelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
