Our client is an established Boston-based company currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. They are an extremely personable team that values and takes pride in proving exceptional customer service.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $30/hr (based on experience)

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing the company’s general administrative activities. Our client is open to part-time.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Responsible for various administrative tasks (answer and direct phone calls, organize and schedule appointments, plan meetings and take detailed notes, etc.)
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Develop and maintain a filing system-Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with Executive and Senior Administrative Assistants to handle requests from Senior Managers

Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or office admin assistant
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and Google Suite
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
