Our client, a well-known and established finance company, is seeking to hire a reliable and professional Administrative Assistant to join their team in Manhattan, NYC. This company highly values their employees and clients with an emphasis on relationships and customer service. The ideal Administrative Assistant candidate must be outgoing, hardworking, and dependable. The position will be onsite in their New York office.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr – $25/hr ($45k – $55k Annually)
Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will take the approach that no job is too big or too small. The position gives the opportunity for the Administrative Assistant to work alongside accomplished individuals and learn from the best. This position will be comprised of administrative tasks in support of various directors in calendar management, travel and expenses. Additionally, the role will support general office assistant-type work such as answering phones, organizing mail, and greeting guests.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
- Support basic calendar management of the Directors
- Book occasional travel, both domestic and international
- Manage corporate expenses
- Oversee general office administrative type tasks such as ordering office supplies, managing mail, and answering incoming calls
- Data entry
- Manage virtual meetings
Qualifications of the Administrative Assistant:
- Must be a self-starter and have a go-getter personality
- Prior administrative internships or professional administrative experience required
- Willingness to learn and grow with a financial organization
- Positive and charismatic personality
- Must exude professionalism and strong communication skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
