Our client, a well-known nonprofit organization in New York City, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join an amazing team while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment! The schedule is hybrid!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr – $30/hr ($58k – $65k)
Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will work directly with the Senior Administrator & team to assist with organizing and executing major events and programs. Other responsibilities include schedule meetings and manage travel requests, running the reception area when necessary, and overseeing organization of the office. The ideal candidate for the Administrative Assistant position must have at least one year of office experience.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
- Assist with event planning for major events
- Oversee department inventory and organization
- Answer & direct phone calls and urgently respond to emails
- Manage schedules and travel arrangements
- Organize department meetings and prepare conference rooms
Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant:
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Hardworking and a personable team player
- Tech savvy
- 1 to 3 years of administrative experience
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
