Our client is looking for an Administrative Coordinator with strong organizational skills to join their team. The company is an established and innovate business that strives to provide quality service to their consumers. The ideal candidate will have a go-getter attitude and take initiative in spearheading the administrative function in support of the department. This role is running on a temporary basis.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $25/hr DOE

Position Overview:

The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for acting as the department point of contact for any phone call or emails. The Administrative Coordinator will carry out any interaction with clients and internal/external personnel. The Administrative Coordinator position requires you to think on your feet and use creativity skills to independently problem-solve.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Coordinator:

  • Carry out any written or verbal interaction with internal and external personnel with a professional tone (phone calls, emails, or memos)
  • Constantly follow up with and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication
  • Prepare written emails and memo’s to send internally and externally
  • Prepare paperwork and any other important documentation for the department to distribute
  • File, scan, upload, and enter accurate data into the system
  • Manage a comprehensive database through Excel
  • Navigate correspondence independently and in a timely manner

Qualifications of the Administrative Coordinator:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Have excellent and effective communication skills
  • Be able to create a comprehensive organizational system for paper and digital files
  • Ability to type up to 50 WPM
  • 2+ years in an office-type setting or in a relevant position (administrative, data entry, customer service, or coordinating)

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
