Their approach to their product development is highly regulated and very thorough to ensure their products meet the consumer need and industry standard. Right now, they are looking to place an Analytical Chemist in their laboratory. 

Salary/Rate: Based on relevant industry experience

Position Overview: The Analytical Chemist position is currently available for a contract to hire opportunity. The role will be in a new lab and include physical and chemical testing including HPLC analysis. The Analytical Chemist role is ideal a chemist who has worked with HPLC or other instruments in industry. The Analytical Chemist should be friendly, have good communication skills and be very team-oriented.

Responsibilities of the Analytical Chemist:

  • Following strict industry regulations to prep, operate and analyze samples in an R&D setting
  • Working in a team setting to ensure tests are run and recorded in a timely manner
  • Thinking outside the box to come up with creative solutions to new problems in an ever evolving industry
  • Instrument maintenance and calibration as well as careful data entry and management
  • Running samples on the HPLC and analyzing results
  • Assisting with day to day lab duties as needed

Qualifications for the Analytical Chemist:

  • 6 months- 2 years of industry experience in a regulated, analytical setting
  • Experience operating the HPLC and other analytical instruments
  • Positive energy, strong written and oral communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • The ability to operate instruments carefully and with strict attention to detail

Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or a related major
