AP/AR Analyst

Our client in the freight forwarding service is looking for an AP/AR Analyst to aid their Accounting Team. The company is pursuing an individual who can work collaboratively on a team providing efficient results within a rapidly expanding industry.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$21 – $22/hr

Position Overview:

The job is a hybrid position that has the potential for a full-time offer. The AP/AR Analyst will assist the accounting department in reconciling accounts, recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Responsibilities will reach spectrums of resolving payment discrepancies and updating receivables by totaling unpaid invoices. The position requires a motivated AP/AR Analyst accompanied with determination and communication skills that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the AP/AR Analyst:

• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices
• Verifying revenues and entering transactions
• Maintain accurate records and control reports
• Matching, batching, and coding
• Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies
• Monthly journal entries

Qualifications for the AP/AR Analyst:

• 2 to 3 years of accounting experience required
• Expertise in financial reporting, accounting, billing, and collections systems
• Proficiency in Excel functions
• Possess strong communication skills
• Detail oriented

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
