AP/AR Specialist

Our client, a Green Industry company that has been providing water efficient products and services to the Bay area for over 30 years, is looking for an AP/AR Specialist to join their corporate office in San Rafael. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in both Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27 – $30/hr

Position Overview:

The AP/AR Specialist will be responsible for Accounts Payable duties while also supporting receivables and performing general accounting tasks. The AP/AR Specialist will work closely with vendors for credits, inquiries, and invoices discrepancies. Someone who is a fast learner, organized, and takes pride in their work will excel in this position.

Responsibilities of the AP/AR Specialist:

• Sort, code, and match invoices
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date
• Prepare and perform check runs
• Support the Accounts Receivable team

Qualifications for the AP/AR Specialist:

• 3 years of Accounts Payable and Account Receivable experience
• Familiar with three way matching
• Self-starter, fast learner, well organized
