Our client is an industry-leading financial investment services company located in Boston, MA. They are currently seeking an Application Support Engineer – Workday and Salesforce to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80k Annually

Position Overview:

This Application Support Engineer – Workday and Salesforce will be responsible for support across business units, with a focus on supporting Workday and Salesforce. As the Application Support Engineer – Workday and Salesforce, you will participate in a broad variety of technology initiatives including inception, implementation, and support. You will evaluate support issues and data inquiries and either provide solutions or escalate to other internal teams. This position will also involve documentation, onboarding and offboarding support, release management for OTS software applications, and supporting companywide technology initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Application Support Engineer – Workday and Salesforce:

  • Monitor and manage a support queue
  • Monitor system integrations and production systems issues
  • Allow and grant access and user requests for financial systems
  • Collaborate with internal and 3rd party vendors to drive resolution of prod support / app support items
  • Document status and resolution of incidents and problems
  • Perform data gathering tasks in support audit and regulatory filing activities
  • Support system patching and application lifecycle process
  • Research and respond to data inquiries
  • Assist with basic reporting and system automation efforts

Qualifications of the Application Support Engineer – Workday and Salesforce:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in an application support or a similar technical support role, including experience supporting Workday, Salesforce, or both
  • Experience supporting Cloud or SaaS based applications
  • Experience troubleshooting in a Windows environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft SQL skills is preferred
  • Experience working with external vendors in support of applications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
