Top Bay Area commercial real estate firm specializing in the management and of flagship Class-A commercial properties. This Assistant Property Manager must be able to work onsite in the South San Francisco office.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70,000 – $80,000

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a reliable, professional and hardworking Commercial Assistant Property Manager with solid experience in commercial property management. The resourceful Assistant Property Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the portfolio, which includes general maintenance, vendor management, financial, leasing and administrative duties.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager:

  • Assist in budget planning and preparation, processing invoices, CAM and Tax escalations and reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing monthly variance reports, aged delinquency reports, rent rolls, and other financial reports
  • Review service contracts and prepare and administer all bids for services
  • Coordinate with vendors and service contractors and conduct regular meetings with contractors to ensure optimum performance and delivering high quality service to tenants
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns with a high level of customer service.

Qualifications for the Assistant Property Manager:

  • 3-5 years of commercial real estate management experience working as a Property/Portfolio Coordinator or Assistant Property Manager o   Commercial property management experience a must!
  • Strong experience with financial reporting, accounting and budget preparation
  • Proficiency in Yardi or MRI, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work well with others
  • Strong customer service experience

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Real Estate License preferred
