Our client is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on finding treatments using T cells for cancer therapies. They are currently seeking an Associate Scientist to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

The Associate Scientist will be working on the Protein Discovery team and should have prior experience with protein purification, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. This is a 6-month contract position.

Responsibilities of the Associate Scientist:

  • Express recombinant proteins
  • Purify proteins using affinity, IEX, and size-exclusion chromatography
  • Characterize proteins using SC-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, and UV-Vis
  • Collaborate with the Protein Discovery team
  • Document experiments and results in detail

Qualifications of the Associate Scientist:

  • 3 – 4 years of experience in the biotech or biopharma industry
  • Hands-on experience in protein purification and protein biochemistry
  • Demonstrate an understanding of experimental design and scientific principles

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Biological, or Chemical Sciences
