Our legal client is seeking an Attorney Development and Recruitment Manager to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$120k – $145k Depending on experience

Position Overview:

As an Attorney Development and Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for managing Recruiting, the Professional Development program and overseeing additional Human Resources tasks for the firm.

Responsibilities of the Attorney Development and Recruitment Manager:

  • Facilitate attorney development by organizing programs such as the first-year track program, developing training materials, creating curriculum, mentoring opportunities, and scheduling attorney check-in times
  • Manage the summer attorney program including the budget, onboarding of students, developing training materials, and providing feedback
  • Work with partners to make decisions and send offer letters as well as manage the partnership with national Student Recruitment leaders to conduct consistent summer programs
  • Source and screen non-attorney associates as well as first-year, staff, contract, and lateral attorneys
  • Coordinate and schedule second-round interviews with candidates and internal associates and partners
  • Target top-tier law schools and build strong relationships with on-campus teams to ensure visibility of the firm, attend on-campus job fairs, and conduct OCI
  • Assist and support the Human Resources team with tasks such as onboarding, exit interviews, orientation, LOA, diversity, and inclusion initiatives

Qualifications of the Attorney Development and Recruitment Manager:

  • 3 – 5 years of legal recruiting experience is preferred. Law firm/legal experience is required
  • On-campus Interviewing (OCI) experience is required
  • LawCruit, viDesktop, CE Manager, PeopleSoft, and MCLE software knowledge is a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
