Our client is a global appliance and electronic manufacturing firm located in Brooklyn, NY and is seeking a Benefits Administrator. The company is known to have a great culture and benefits package.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $85k plus Bonus

Position Overview:

The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for providing education and knowledge on the company benefit plans including medical, dental, and vision. Additionally, the Benefits Administrator will be responsible for managing COBRA, new-hire enrollment, retirement plans, leave of absences, and other benefit components.

Responsibilities of the Benefits Administrator:

  • Provide employees with benefit information such as medical, dental, vision, COBRA, leave of absence, retirement, FMLA, various other life vents, etc.
  • Maintain the HRIS system to ensure that benefit information is properly recorded
  • Provide new employees with benefit plans and options
  • Manage open enrollment for all employees
  • Audit the benefits enrollment process to ensure accuracy
  • Work with Payroll on various projects
  • Handle the wellness program and implement different initiatives

Qualifications for the Benefits Administrator:

  • 3+ years of experience in benefits (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Proficient in Paycom is a plus
  • Experience working with benefit plans and payroll
  • Experience with retirement plans and leave of absence
  • Audit employee benefits procedures

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
