Our client, a mid-sized law firm with a strong presence in Downtown Pittsburgh, seeking a Billing Specialist to continue to support the firm’s internal staff and clients.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50,000 – $70,000

Position Overview:

The Billing Specialist speaks with attorneys and other legal staff regarding billing, the Billing Specialist also enter in attorney’s billing information within the firm’s billing software.

Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:

  • Update clients on billing matters
  • Prepare billing reports
  • Assist accounting department on various tasks when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Billing Specialist:

  • 2+ years of billing experience is required
  • Experience working within a law firm is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of various accounting software; intermediate Excel skills
  • Working with large data sets is preferred
  • Ability to maintain a level of professionalism when speaking to various individuals of the law firm and clients
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or within a team setting

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree with a focus within Accounting, Finance or Business is required
