Our client is a successful legal firm that is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65,000 – $70,000

Position Overview:

The Billing Specialist will be the primary contact for the billing attorneys and clients and responsible for the monthly pro forma process. This Billing Specialist role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:

  • Monthly pro forma selections
  • Completing attorney edits on pro forma
  • Review for guideline compliance
  • Final billing with submission of invoices on electronic websites
  • Accounts receivable follow up to clients

Qualifications for the Billing Specialist:

  • 3 to 5 years of legal billing experience
  • Ability to take initiative with strong time management skills
  • Knowledge of electronic websites for invoice submission
  • In-depth knowledge of client billing requirements and specific client designated software
  • Strong computer skills, including MSWord, Excel, and Elite Billing Software

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
