Position Overview:

Atrium is a leading Talent Solutions firm with a trusted commitment to service and innovation. We currently have an exciting opportunity available to act as a dynamic Business Development Manager within the Atrium Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) division. This Business Development Manager is expected to leverage an existing contact base, network, and prospect for new opportunities, and consistently apply superior salesmanship to win competitive opportunities.

This person will identify, qualify and close new business opportunities and contribute to consistent, profitable Atrium growth in sales and revenue by:

Pursuing new business opportunities with Atrium prospects and existing clients

  • Generate sales leads and market new business through cold and warm calls, emails and targeted marketing campaigns
  • Conduct consultative meetings with potential client stakeholders to identify Contingent Workforce business needs and introduce appropriate Atrium services
  • Meet defined sales expectations and deliverables
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and sales activities

Collaborating with cross-functional Atrium leaders and subject matter experts

  • Access internal SMEs to develop unique proposals and materials for presentations
  • Coordinate contributors for solution planning, pricing or other required proposal content

Staying up-to-date on Atrium solutions and messaging

  • Work closely with Atrium Sales Development and Talent Technology teams to train, learn and clearly position competitive advantages
  • Become confident representing Atrium Contingent Workforce Solutions portfolio of services and Talent Technology partners, including Atrium Recruitment, Direct Sourcing, Employer of Record Payrolling, Independent Contractor Compliance, Intern Program Design, and MSP Programs

Leveraging co-marketing relationships with established best-in-class talent technology partners, such as:

  • Vendor Management Systems (VMS): Beeline, Fieldglass, Simplify, Utmost, Vector, Vindly, etc.
  • Freelancer Management Systems (FMS): Work Llama, Worksome, WorkSuite, etc.

Attending conferences/networking events

  • Achieve exposure for Atrium by meeting face-to-face with clients, talent technology partners and prospects

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Train under the guidance of Sales Development Team Vice President and National Sales Directors
  • Build a portfolio of leads by leveraging existing contact base, networking and warm/cold calling
  • Convert leads to opportunities by articulating Atrium capabilities and competitive differentiators according to unique client requirements
  • Develop pricing proposals and drive profitable margins achieved by way of strong negotiation skills
  • Meet sales performance metrics, expectations and deliverables while maintaining relationships with existing clients by ensuring Atrium is providing best-in-class service

Qualifications of the Business Development Manager:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of new business development and experience in generating new business leads and sales, as well as proven history of achieving sales quota
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage several prospects/proposals simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate at an office desk for extended periods of time, whether sitting or standing
  • Ability to travel between Atrium offices, as needed, including reliable means of transportation
  • Ability to attend national industry events and conferences, as needed

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience is required
