Business Intelligence Associate

Our client is a globally recognized jewelry manufacturer with offices in New York City (Queens). They are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Associate to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $120k DOE

Position Overview:

The Business Intelligence Associate will be a critical component of the BI team, and will build reports and visuals and ensure that reporting is insightful, effective, and delivered in a timely manner.

Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Associate:

• Create reports and visuals using company data and BI tools
• Ensure that the company is leveraging data effectively
• Partner with stakeholders and other business members to ensure that BI reporting is aligned with their needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest quality data and reporting
• Work with employees to champion business intelligence in the organization and provide technical advice and training to employees using BI applications

Qualifications of the Business Intelligence Associate:

• 3+ years of related experience
• Strong experience with PowerBI
• Strong SQL experience in a BI environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience gathering reporting requirements from business users
• Data mining experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player and collaborator
• Azure Cloud experience is desirable
• Experience in retail financial reporting is a big plus

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Accounting, Finance, or Business Information Systems
