Our client, a next-generation business of the automotive finance and leasing business, revolving around expectational customer experience, and competitive leasing programs is seeking a Collections Specialist. They are seeking a Collections Specialist that will report directly to the VP, interact with every level of management, and with the company’s retail clients.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$19/hr

Position Overview:

The Collections Specialist will be working out of the Pennington facility. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for investigating and following up on delinquent automotive lease accounts in addition to resolving delinquencies.

Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist:

  • Directly responsible for the investigation, collection, and negotiation of delinquent automotive lease accounts
  • Communicate professionally with all levels of management, in addition to retail clients
  • Ensure all collection communications and investigations are handled with professionalism in compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations and guidelines
  • Communicate tactfully with the retail loan and lease clients to resolve delinquents in a timely and mutually beneficial manner

Qualifications of the Collections Specialist:

  • Must be able to work fully onsite from Monday to Friday
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of ALS (Advanced Lease Systems) or similar automotive finance and leasing software is preferred
  • Must be detail-orientated, persistent, and persuasive to minimize financial loss and recurring delinquencies
  • Previous collections experience in automotive leasing is preferred
  • High level of energy and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
