Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Community Outreach Associate to join their team on a temporary basis. Great culture and hands on training provided!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr

Position Overview:

The Community Outreach Associate will answer phone calls and emails, schedule meetings, and educate members of the community of the benefits of the organization’s offered services. The hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Associate:

  • Answer phone calls and emails from members of the community who need program assistance
  • Follow up with internal staff regarding services
  • Schedule meetings and plan events
  • Translate sign up forms for Spanish speaking members

Qualifications for the Community Outreach Associate:

  • Must be bilingual in Spanish – able to read, write, and speak fluently
  • At least 1 yr of Community Outreach experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with customers

Education Requirements:

  • Degree in Public Health or Social Work is preferred
