Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an onsite Consumer Research Coordinator to join the company in it’s Consumer Science division in Westfield, NJ. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to join a collaborative team that is focused on ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate for this Consumer Research Coordinator position will be someone who is a self starter, task-oriented, and effective communicator with both internal and external teams.
Responsibilities of the Consumer Research Coordinator:
- Managing and tracking studies
- Responsible for developing screeners, questionnaires, and discussion guides
- Acting as a liaison between internal team and external vendors
- Initiating, developing, executing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer studies, and making actionable recommendations that impact product development for future launches and meet business strategies
- Collaborating with Sensory, Instrumental, and Lab teams to help integrate the output of these sciences into the consumer learnings. This involves working with consumers, sensory/consumer scientists, and formulators
- Translating consumer insights into actionable recommendations to drive exceptional consumer satisfaction
Qualifications of the Consumer Research Coordinator:
- Should have relevant experience in consumer research, clinical research, or consumer insights
- Prior experience working with sensory or consumer panels
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment under short deadlines
- Self-motivated who is able to work both in a team and independent setting
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data entry and statistical software program
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Psychology, Sensory Science, Integrated Innovation, Sociology or a related field
