Our client, a rapidly growing medical center is seeking a Contract Recruiter to recruit for vacant positions.

Salary/Hourly Rate:


Position Overview:

The ideal Recruiter must work with a sense of urgency and need to jump right in, and have at least 3 years of high volume recruiting.

Responsibilities of the Recruiter:

  • Assist HR with planning and the execution of special events like open houses
  • Serve as a mediator for management and staff of assigned departments on issues relating to policy interpretation and application
  • Attend departmental staff meetings for assigned departments
  • Utilize an applicant tracking system and minimize hire time approval
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned departments in the area of recruitment
  • Provide external and internal customers with appropriate service levels
  • Meet with employees and serves as liaison to external departments as necessary and delivers consistently accurate, efficient and professional service
  • Establish and maintain effective recruitment and retention programs for assigned departments
  • Develops strategies to attract and retain qualified applicants
  • Recruits viable applicants for employment utilizing various methods including, but not limited to, advertising, employee referrals, job fairs and direct mailings
  • Complete interviews and the full on-boarding process
  • Counsel employees regarding interdepartmental transfers, promotional opportunities and continuing education programs
  • Ensure follow-up with employees to in-house retention and employee satisfaction
  • Conduct Exit Interviews as necessary
  • Collaborate with Department managers on preparation and updating of job descriptions
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and regulatory requirements. Counsel managers regarding employment law
  • Ensure that a qualified and diverse slate of candidates is sourced, interviewed, and selected
  • Maintain accurate automated and manual records
  • Respond to routine inquiries regarding benefits, HR policies and procedures, provides appropriate referrals as necessary

  • Makes decisions that are timely and consistent with department, objectives, policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates sound judgment; accepts and benefits from constructive criticism
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and be flexible to work additional hours if needed
  • Must be fully vaccinated

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Graduate or undergraduate concentration in Human Resources, Business, Nursing or Behavioral Sciences
  • Master’s degree preferred
