Our client is a large manufacturing company looking to add a Contracts & Pricing Analyst to their team.



Position Overview:

The Contracts & Pricing Analyst will be responsible for making pricing recommendations, analyzing data and contracts, and preparing and monitoring all pricing activities.

Responsibilities of the Contracts & Pricing Analyst:

  • Establish, prepare, and analyze contracts and pricing documentation
  • Make recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions by making sure that company policies and sales goals are met
  • Effectively prepare, monitor and execute all pricing activities (formal RFPs, pricing, product availability, rebates, incentives, contract loads, amendments etc.)
  • Run and maintains sales/metrics reports (pending offers, win/loss file)
  • Prepare contracts and pricing, monitor and administrate both contract and pricing, and
  • Review and analyze agreements for vendor requirements
  • Manage customer contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition
  • Support new product launches or widespread pricing changes
  • Resolve discrepancies relative to customer information with both internal and external personnel
  • Review daily pricing exceptions
  • Evaluate methods to optimize price, revenue, and margin through pricing strategies and competitive pricing and potential pricing change impact on customer’s book of business
  • Gather data, monitor performance and prepare financial analysis in support of assigned customer segments and accounts
  • Compile and maintain relevant competitive and pricing data utilizing external sources and internal systems
  • Open new accounts and maintain customer master information
  • Assist with gross-to-net calculations for accruals, with resolving customer sales deductions, with reporting material shelf stock adjustments, and with resolving chargeback denial issues
  • Maintain customer product portals
  • Report and identify trends and non-compliant transactions

Qualifications for the Contracts & Pricing Analyst:

  • 1-2 years of contracting and pricing experience
  • Should be a team player
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • ERP experience a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related business major
