Copywriter

Our client, a leader in the personal care industry is looking for a Copywriter to join their growing team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$40 – $50/hr

Position Overview:

Primary responsibilities of the Copywriter include writing and fact-checking articles, proofreading, uploading articles on their respective sites, creating story calendars, attending editorial meetings, and proofreading. The Copywriter communicate and cooperate with the editorial team, including editor, content curators, and designers.

Responsibilities of the Copywriter:

• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in articles or content
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Content marketing strategy analysis
• Follow the writing schedule to complete articles within deadlines
• Collaborate with other members of the editorial team to ensure timely delivery of content
• Produce well-research articles within the set time-frame

Qualifications for the Copywriter:

• Minimum 2 years of working as a SEO copywriter
• Knowledge of SEO and how it applies to content marketing
• Tech-savvy with the ability to make complex technical matters easy-to understand even for non-technical people
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables
• Proven experience working under pressure to deliver high quality output in a short span of time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, linguistics, or related field is required
• Master’s degree is a plus
